Re-release of the Manfred Mann classic as a double CD. Originally released in 1998, the Album contains several recordings of the European "Soft Vengeance" Tour. Manfred Mann's Earth Band is supported by fellow musicians Chris Thompson (also Alan Parsons Project) and Mick Rogers, who take over both the guitar playing and the singing. The mixture of own compositions and cover versions on is wonderful. Especially "Blinded by the Light", originally by Bruce Springsteen, is considered a classic in this Form.
