Singer Vanessa Fernandez and a top-notch ensemble of 6 or 7 musicians take on some classic Led Zeppelin songs. It is surprisingly successful given the hard driving rock originals. Some songs work better than others. "Black Dog" is slowed way down and was actually done effectively years ago by LZ's Robert Plant and bluegrass icon Alison Krauss. I also liked the acoustic version of "Whole Lotta Love." Perhaps the best however is the soulful "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You."
Fernanzed adds a bluesy angle to each of the songs. Still, some songs just long for the hard rock versions. The sonics are about as good as it gets. I have the SACD version but the album is also available on 45 RPM heavy vinyl all, recorded in analogue using multi-track methodology. Some tracks are recorded with no overdubs or other corrections. The album sounds great.

Many thanks for lossless.
